The pre filter blocks out large dust such as pollen, animal fur, etc. The TRUE HEPA (High-efficiency particulate air) filter screens microscopic dust and harmful substances in the air. The carbon filter eliminates unpleasant odors. The ozone plate then release small amount of ozone in the air to rid mold.

*Do note that Ozone plate is reusable.
